In this book we present two plays for children about migration written by two Mexican playwrights, Mónica Hoth and Valentina Sierra.
The search for a better future, caregiving, the train that runs across the country to the north, the people who go to work and those who stay, the desert, the threats lurking at the border, the birds and the ants run through the stories of Martina and Damián, two brave children, capable of facing the world they live in.
Martina and the Birdmen and A Beast in My Garden will help us continue to think about the world we want and will bring the harsh reality of migration closer to children.
