Meeting with some of the leading creators of performing arts aimed at adolescents and confronting them with their audience, young people, in a debate open to dialogue and reflection.
In conjunction with other agents of cultural transmission such as family, school, television, and video games, the arts, and theater in particular, consciously or unconsciously transmit cultural codes. In this process of enculturation, young people learn patterned ways of feeling, believing, thinking, and acting; on stage, they witness ethical and ideological approaches and standardized ways of living in society. To what extent creators and audiences are aware of these is one of the questions that underpin this reflection and will foster debate in the meeting between creators and their audiences.
We propose a space for meeting and reflection on creative work aimed at adolescent audiences, featuring prominent creators in an open dialogue that will also include the participation of adolescents.
Nando López, The Cross Border Project, La Joven, José Padilla, Nina Reglero, Ultramarinos de Lucas, …
The meeting will take place at Casa del Lector- Matadero Madrid from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Admission is free upon registration. Space is limited. If you wish to attend, please fill out the following form:
