On April 8, 9, and 10, 2024, at the Casa del Lector Auditorium in Matadero Madrid, we will celebrate the 11th ASSITEJ Cycle of Dramatized Readings.
A unique, high-quality experience for children and young people that helps showcase the literary quality of the plays for children and young people published by ASSITEJ Editorial.
The readings, performed by students from ESAD (Spanish Academy of Arts) in Valencia, RESAD (Spanish Academy of Arts) in Madrid, and the Canary Islands School of Actors, were accompanied by the projection of images designed for the occasion. These images, like digital scenery, framed and enlivened the dramatization, placing the activity somewhere between a reading and a theatrical production. After the reading, a meeting with the performer and/or author was also offered, allowing for a deeper understanding of the work.
