ASSITEJ Spain will celebrate the XI ASSITEJ Cycle of Dramatized Readings on the days April 8, 9 and 10 at the Auditorium of the Casa del Lector in Matadero Madrid.

As in previous years, the reading of dramatic texts becomes a unique and quality experience for children and young people, promoting this in the youngest audiences and raising awareness of the literary quality of theatrical texts.

The readings are accompanied by the projection of specially designed images that, like digital scenery, frame and energize the dramatization, placing the activity somewhere between a reading and a theatrical production. After the reading, a meeting with the performer and/or author is offered, allowing for a deeper understanding of the work. All readings are free and are specifically aimed at educational centers.

After registration, we will send copies of the selected plays to the schools so that the teaching team can work on reading with the students and discover the expressive capabilities of the dramatic works.

If a center wishes to attend more than one reading, a separate form must be submitted for each reading. Places are limited, and reservations will be assigned based on the order in which they are received and the appropriate age range.
