He studied at the Torrelodones Theatre School in Madrid, where he worked with Vicente León as an acting teacher. He later returned to La Rioja, where he began a 10-year theatrical research project at the TAT under the direction of Jorge Padín. At the same time, he trained as a clown alongside Virginia Imaz, Marcelo Katz, Ramon Albistur, and Juan Berzal. His training has always been closely linked to Lecoq's work. Based on his experience with the TAT project, he decided to create the DES CLOS company with Gemma Viguera. The first production was "Artists or Beasts" for adult audiences, with which he toured theaters throughout Spain. After several productions, the company changed its name to El Perro Azul Teatro, which is its current name.
