From Donosti, San Sebastián. Trained in music since the age of 6. I studied stage direction and acting at the RESAD and at the Cuarta Pared hall in Madrid. In 2021 I made my first stage direction and my own creation: "Juicio al extraño" with the company InDubio. In February 2022, I made my first stage direction of an opera: María de Buenos Aires by Astor Piazzolla at the Palacio de Festivales de Cantabria (Dir. Paula Sumillera). In addition, I founded Barandi producciones, a company dedicated to producing contemporary theater shows for young audiences with an interactive approach..
In 2021 I created my first show "Juicio al extraño" (Trial of the Foreigner) with the company InDubio. It is a participatory theater show ideal for teenage audiences that is still active and touring the state today.
In 2023, he will premiere “The metamorphosis” by Igor Escudero based on the story by Kafka at the Little Ópera Zamora Festival, at the Tête à Tête festival in London and at the Fortuny theatre in Reus in 2024.
On June 5, InDubio will premiere its second show, “A Chronicle of Violence,” a contemporary production based on the 12 Labors of Hercules. Other projects he has directed include: “A Night with Carola Neher” at the ILE (Free Education Institution).
An interactive version for young viewers of Milhaud's opera, “La mère coupable,” will soon be released at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo (2025).
I consider myself a very versatile stage director, a chameleon who is very interested in generating stage experiences where the audience can be part of the show, especially young audiences or those who are not used to theatre and opera.
