Fira de Teatre de Titelles de Lleida

The Lleida Puppet Theatre Fair was founded in May 1990. Promoted and organized by the Lleida Puppet Theatre Centre, its purpose is to foster the market and dissemination of puppet and visual theatre, while promoting its festive and participatory value among the public. The Fair hosts both indoor and outdoor performances. It programs a minimum of 30 companies per edition with more than 100 public performances and the presence of more than 200 registered professionals, both national and international. The annual Performing Arts Book Fair is organized in the surrounding area, along with a wide range of parallel activities, such as creative residencies, exhibitions, meetings, presentations or spaces for reflection, book launches, and educational activities. Lleida has become a benchmark for the puppet and visual theatre sector and, in turn, the ideal setting and meeting point for companies, creators, agents, festivals, and programmers. More than 40,000 spectators attend the Fair.
