Eduardo Blanco Love
Eduardo Blanco Amor (Ourense, 1897-Vigo, 1979) emigrated to America at the age of 20 and lived in Argentina, where he devoted himself to journalism and literature. In 1929, he returned to Galicia as a correspondent for the newspaper La Nación. He became known as a poet in 1928 with the publication of Romances galegos (Romances galegos) and, later, Cancioneiro (1956) and Poema en catro tempos (Poem in Four Times) (1959), as well as several plays such as Farsas para Títeres (which includes Romance de Micomicón…). He also wrote several journalistic genres and also Spanish-language literature.
