In 2007, La Clá Company was founded due to the need to tell big and small things to both young and old spectators. To appreciate the everyday and the peculiar, from the smallest to the magnificent. The company is committed to carrying out social intervention projects, trying to bring theatre to groups that are far from cultural events. To do this, the company collaborates in all the initiatives that the Garaje Teatro Association develops. Shows premiered: 2008 “Eolo y los Anemómetros” for early childhood. 2009 La Clá Company co-produces with La Cá. English: Chatipaunlao the contemporary dance piece “En mi mano una estrella” and in 2010 “Naranjas de la China”. In 2011 “Desmontando Planetos” and collaborates with the Garaje Teatro Association to develop the “Naranjas Verdes” project for young people at risk of social exclusion. In 2012 “sOlete” a dance theatre creation for early childhood. In 2013 “Agua Salada” for family audiences and a co-production for adults with the Rayo Malayo company by the choreographer Francesc Bravo “Dos solos sólo, y lo demás improvisado”. In 2014 “El viaje de Heitaro”. Inspired by Japanese tradition. In 2016, the work “En el Vergel” premiered, a contemporary dance piece for adults inspired by women of the fifties and sixties that tries to reflect the consumption and individuality that began in these times and is reaching its highest levels today. In 2017, he premiered the show “Cabeza de nuez” within the SURGE Muestra de Creación Escénica. In 2018 he presented two productions, “Pie Inquieto” a dance theater piece aimed at early childhood, in the month of April and “Palabra de Laurencia” for adult audiences. In 2019 he premiered the improvised music and dance show “Efecto Mariposa” at the Improvisación dance festival, Teatro Pradillo and at the LDC Festival, Teatro Galileo and Teatro de las Culturas with the collaboration of Trinidad Jiménez and Paloma Carrasco. In 2020 he presented two shows “Analogic Beat” for adults within the SURGE Madrid exhibition and the installation show for early childhood. «Aintzira, Charcos y Chubascos»The company currently resides at the Sanchinarro Cultural Centre in the Hortaleza District of the Community of Madrid.The trajectory that Cía. La Clá has developed during its activity is marked by a commitment to the development of original creations of a collective nature in which different artistic disciplines collaborate with a common objective: to communicate, to provide views from a plural perspective.
