Festival elPetitLet's play?Festival elPetit Shall we play? The international elPetit Festival celebrates 20 years of history bringing live arts to early childhood and claiming the importance of living artistic experiences in the first years of life. From November 9 to 24, 2024, the elPetit Festival will fill the spaces of 13 cities in the territory with some of the best international and national proposals for the youngest audiences. In this special edition, elPetit is characterized by a wide program of high-quality, innovative immersive experiences, focused on contemporary languages and that bet on emerging talent. Artistic meeting spaces that claim play as a safe space, where to create, imagine, take risks and develop freely. Play is an essential element for the cognitive, emotional and social growth of children. Through play, children explore the world around them, express themselves and relate. The festival values this fundamental tool, offering more than thirty artistic proposals that encourage curiosity and free exploration. But elPetit is much more than an Arts Festival. It is also a space for research, training, dialogue and networking. As part of the 9th International Meeting of Arts for (early) childhood (14-17 November), elPetit is organising a meeting open to artists and professionals from the culture, education, health and social action sectors, which includes lectures by leading figures in the sector, debates and workshops. A broad view to address the current and future situation of the Arts in (early) childhood, with a special emphasis on the evolution of the sector over the last two decades. This November, we invite you to explore the universe of elPetit through play. The festival's keys open the doors to creativity and imagination, a unique opportunity to discover and share exceptional artistic meeting spaces, and to jointly celebrate 20 years of live arts, innovation and commitment to early childhood. We look forward to seeing you!
