I Conference on Inclusion and Accessibility in the Performing Arts for children and youth

We want to announce that this year ASSITEJ, in collaboration with the Cánovas Theater from Malaga, begins the I Conference on Inclusion and Accessibility in the Performing Arts for children and youth This new space is an important gathering place because it will open many doors so that all children and adolescents, regardless of their diversity, can have access to dance, theater, and circus performances.
For three days, national and international professionals from the sector will provide useful tools so that companies, programmers, and cultural agents can make their works and programming projects accessible and inclusive.
The Conference will be held in Malaga on October 20, 21, 22, and 23 in it Cánovas Theater and in the La Malagueta Cultural CenterThe Cánovas Theatre is one of the few performing arts venues whose programming is entirely aimed at children and young people. This year, it plans to launch an accessible program that begins with the show Loop from Aracaladanza, with two fully accessible performances on October 22 and 23.
In addition, at ASSITEJ we're launching a new project: Maps for Happy Childhoods! A network of cultural agents linked to inclusion and accessibility whose purpose is to collaborate, expand, and promote happy childhoods.
