We are pleased to invite you to the 2nd SIMPROTA YOUTH THEATRE COMPETITION. Given the success with both audiences and groups at last year's competition (you can see videos and information by clicking here), we felt it was worth launching a second edition, which basically follows the same principles as last year. We are also including the 2nd SIMPROTA THEATRE WRITING EDITION - ANTÍGONA EDITIONS, for those of you who write plays. We remind you that this competition adheres to a philosophy of values that will guide the jury in their decisions.sympathetic philosophy). We're also maintaining almost the same prizes as last year, and the SIMPROTA AWARD FOR COLLECTIVE CREATION remains the most valuable award, offering 500 euros.
We encourage you to participate. Theater should be a form of resistance, a necessary activity of expression for students and teachers. For this reason, and because we believe in grassroots culture, we are launching this second edition despite the difficulties, despite the discredit currently suffered by culture and education.
