Our partner, Irene Herráez, has won the 2024 Calderón de la Barca Award for "All Lives."

The text, written as a final project for her degree in Dramaturgy, was created based on her experiences with adolescents during a series of workshops the author conducted at a high school in Vallecas, Madrid. The award recognizes "the boldness and freshness of a new author who has managed to reflect a generation seeking to express themselves without the formal restrictions imposed by conventional dramaturgy. By dispensing with stage directions and prioritizing fresh language, Todas las vidas captures the energy and concerns of young people."
