Shakespeare’s Daughter, from classics…
Premiered at the Bilbao International Puppet Festival, Shakespeare's Daughter continues her journey in search of her father through two of the most important Classical Theatre Festivals in Spain, Clásicos en Alcalá and the Almagro Festival.
We will meet Judith, Shakespeare's daughter, who travels to our times to talk to us about her father, his era and tell us about “A Midsummer Night's Dream.”
This elegant lady will reveal to us the sources of inspiration for her father and his story with the help of some friends, who will help her unravel the tangled mess of this soap opera.
With the romanticism of Titania, the magic of Oberon and the mischievous little elf Puck, the audience will discover a classic of universal literature. An entertaining and different way for our children to come into contact with the stories of the greatest English-speaking playwright. It is also a bilingual show: Spanish, English or French, but always with a touch of humour.
The 12th Alcalá Classical Theatre Festival is hosting 3 performances of this show. You can enjoy them on June 29th, 30th at 7:00 p.m., and July 1st at 12:30 p.m. at the Teatro Universitario La
Galera, in Alcalá de Henares, for family audiences, from 7 years old. More information at www.clasicosenalcala.net
