The call for applications for the 11th Juan Cervera Award for Research on Performing Arts for Children and Youth is now open.
ASSITEJ Spain, with the aim of stimulating and promoting research and generating knowledge in the field of performing arts for children and youth, is launching a new edition of this award, which is held biennially and is celebrating its eleventh year this year.
The deadline for submitting research is September 15, 2023.
Authors of any nationality may participate in this competition with works that explore issues related to the performing arts for children and/or young people and are written in any co-official language of Spain, provided they are accompanied by a translation into Spanish.
The subject matter will be entirely open, but curricular proposals, adaptations, or revisions (master's theses, doctoral theses, etc.) will not be accepted. The jury will especially value projects that consider the development of a research paradigm with a clearly differentiated methodological structure across its phases.
The works must be original, unpublished in any format, and not have won any other competition. Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the withdrawal of the prize. Each contestant may submit only one work.
