Boletín Iberoamericano

Boletín Iberoamericano

In 1973, ASSITEJ-Spain began publishing the Ibero-American Bulletin of Theater for Children and Youth. This bulletin aims to gather information on dramatic activities for children and young people from both national and international companies, as well as the research and reflections conducted in this field in Spain, in Ibero-American countries, and in other countries with ASSITEJ centers, as well as theatrical texts. This bulletin, therefore, was created with the aim of being a vehicle for dissemination, a means of knowledge and communication for all those who, in one way or another, work in theater for children and young people.

The publication of the Ibero-American Bulletin of Theatre for Children and Youth (BITIJ) has had two stages:

First stage.
From 1973 to 1992, 52 issues (I-LII) were published, including essays, theatrical texts, news, synopses of plays, company directories, etc.

Second stage.
In 2000, the publication embarked on a new phase, aiming to serve as a natural channel of communication between industry professionals in Latin America and Europe.
