A stage director, playwright and art educator, she is the founder of The Cross Border Project.

As a playwright she has published Party, Party, Party (Finalist for Theatrical Authorship, XXII Max Awards), Alices in search of wonders (V SGAE Theatrical Writing Laboratory) and Nora, 1959, (Authors at the Center, CDN). He has also co-written Clandestine Country, show that has toured seven countries.  

 

He has received the RNE El Ojo Crítico Theatre Award 2018, the “José Luis Alonso” Young Directors Award from the ADE 2013, the Special Mention of the Jury of Almagro Off 2011 and the UN Woman Award from Latin America against gender violence. Her shows have premiered at, among others, the Thalia Theatre in New York, the Sánchez Aguilar Theatre in Ecuador, Microtheater Miami, and the National Dramatic Centre in Spain.

 

As an artist-educator, she has coordinated Applied Theatre projects for education and social transformation in Europe, the United States, Latin America and Africa.

She holds a Master's degree in Theatre and Education from New York University and a Master's degree in Performing Arts Management from ICCMU-Universidad Complutense. She is a member of the Director's Lab at the Lincoln Center in New York.
