Ibero-American Network

The Ibero-American Network of Performing Arts for Children and Youth was created in 2005 during the XV ASSITEJ International Congress in Montreal (Canada) as an initiative of the ASSITEJ Centers of Ibero-America. Since then we have been developing various projects that stimulate the development of performing arts for children and youth in Spanish.

The Ibero-American Network aims to promote the exchange, creation and professionalization of Performing Arts for Children and Youth in the Ibero-American sphere, stimulating their circulation, co-production, research and dissemination. Supporting the creation of new centers and sectoral articulation in the different countries

We are currently conducting research on the cultural policies of our territories in order to be able to promote global change, aware of the possibilities of joint development of territories that, despite profound differences, maintain shared aspects of their identity. The Ibero-American Network has a prominent role in the organization of workshops and activities that will make up the program of the ASSITEJ International World Congress.
