XII ASSITEJ CYCLE OF DRAMATIC READINGS
Theater exhibition for children and youth.

ASSITEJ Spain celebrates its 12th Dramatized Reading Series on April 7, 8, and 9. Once again, the theatrical readings return to the Casa del Lector Auditorium in Matadero Madrid.

The reading of the plays becomes a unique and high-quality experience for children and young people, promoting reading and highlighting the literary quality of the theatrical texts. The readings are accompanied by the projection of images designed as digital scenery, framing and energizing the dramatization, creating a hybrid activity between reading and stage production.

After the reading, a meeting with the performers and/or the author is proposed, in which to delve deeper into the work and the reading.

All readings are free and aimed at schools. After registration, we will send copies of the plays to the registered schools so that teachers can work with their students on reading and discover the expressive capabilities of the plays. All of them are works of high literary quality and great artistic value.

If a center wishes to attend more than one reading, a separate form must be submitted for each reading. Places are limited, and reservations will be assigned based on the order in which they are received and the appropriate age range.

Reading dramatic texts becomes a unique and quality experience for children and young people, fostering this experience in the youngest audiences and highlighting the literary quality of theatrical texts.
