XXII ASSITEJ Spain Prize for Theater for Children and Youth

The Jury, which met last Tuesday, December 12, has decided to award the XXII ASSITEJ Spain Prize for Theatre for Children and Youth to the work My winter dream by the author Nieves Rodriguez Rodriguez.

The jury praised the work for its careful use of poetic language, its formal risk, the treatment of the characters and the scenic possibilities it offers. In addition, the jury valued the risk of proposing such a current topic treated in such a delicate way.

The jury has considered the works , () , and as finalists and highlighted their quality.

A total of 77 works were submitted in this edition and the jury was made up of Maribel Carrasco, Marta Torres, Juan Berzal, Javier Hernando and Jordi Palet.

The award ceremony is scheduled for March 2nd in Gijón, within the framework of FETEN. European Fair of Performing Arts for Children.
